Open Data Week

Are you an artist? Teacher? Civic hacker? Data scientist? Government wonk? NYC novice? Someone curious about open data?

Join us for NYC Open Data Week! Learn about public data and meet other people who also use it.

Open Data Week is a festival celebrating NYC Open Data as a free public resource about NYC — guided by the philosophy that open data is for all New Yorkers. Every March, people come together online and across the five boroughs to celebrate public data in New York City and mark the anniversary of the City’s first open data law, signed on March 7, 2012. Throughout Open Data Week, NYC’s civic tech and open data communities meet, share their discoveries, and learn more about municipal public data.

Open Data Week is organized and produced by the NYC Open Data Team at the Office of Technology and Innovation, BetaNYC, and the Data Through Design collective.
